Red Roots

There's a new Southern Gospel group, a set of red haired triplets. I really don't listen to music much, but I heard this song recently and now can't quit listening to it. My poor husband is about to go bonkers I think! He says I only like them because they're girls! Don't tell him, but he's wrong! I like them because they're girls, because they're apparently not afraid of getting their hands and boots muddy, because I think they might be a bit of Tom-boys, (which I for sure was growing up), and last but not least, I think they sound super together. ...and I just love this song.
Say its a bit hillbilly if you want, but I love it. I can close my eyes and be a short little girl again walkin' through the woods holding hands with my tall daddy! Him pointing out the Dutchman's britches, teaching me the difference in trees, and showing me the best place to find morel mushrooms.
I really don't like songs that are light and silly in reference to christianity, like "one fry short of a happy meal," etc. (sorry if you like that song! It's just another song that I randomly heard somewhere along the way, know nothing about the group! ;). ...so I really love how this song uses analogies in a good way! ...or maybe I just think it uses them in a good way, cause it touches my country roots. Anyway, I love it.

Thank you so much for sharing this video. I had not heard of them but I can tell you I was truly blessed by watching it!

We got to hear them in concert in Ochelata, OK the second weekend in July. They did quite well.

We heard about that concert, but already had something going on that night, so weren't able to make it. :/
