This morning I was thinking of participating in an activity. Basically, it was a waste of time. Not something that I thought was necessarily wrong, just maybe not the best use of my time at the moment.
While I was thinking about it, I remembered that I had not yet read my Bible for the day. I said to myself, “I'll go have my devotions, then maybe I can waste some of my God-given time.” I don't even know why I said it that way, because that sure isn't my typical way of talking! But when I thought about that again, it didn't seem to be something to be looked at so flippantly. Anything God gives us is special, and not to be looked at lightly! ...not to say we can't have fun, but I sure want to look at things in a light of how I can be a better steward of what God has given me, whether it be time, money, family, or friends!

Hi my name is Carmell and I live in AK. I clicked on your name randomley from the comments of PW, which I never usually do. I have to say that it so encourages me to know that there are people out there that love the Lord and know the importance of His word and spending time with Him. Gods Word is forever and the only thing we will be taking "home" with us. God bless and stand strong in Him.
