Baby name Review...

Here's why I like, or don't like these particular names!

Adrian – at first, this was a name that I really liked. (either that or Addison, I can't remember:) Then I mentioned it to my husband and he says, “Nah!” in a very definite tone of voice! ...so I toss aside that name, and in the mean time, decide I really don't want to use it either. Some time later when we're talking about names again, he says, “How about Adrian?” This time it's my turn, so I say, “Nah!” in a very definite tone of voice!

Laramie – this is one of those (few) names that just jumped out at me when I was looking through a name book. It sounds so cute and western, but not so cowboy that it conjurs up images of a cowpuncher with 4 inch heels, a dinner plate belt buckle, and 50 pounds of silver hanging from his saddle. Dear husband and I both love it, but it does seem like a big handle for such a little creature! Hmmm... this one bears some thought!

Ian – I love this name!! This was my favorite for quite some time. It's just so cute and sweet. But, once again – my husband... is that saying enough? He liked it, just not for his boy! Not sure why???

Colt – another of our favorites! It sounds kinda wild and free! Wild as in wind blowing through the trees, a fawn skipping through the meadow, a river flowing through the mountans... not wild as in, scruffy hair, holes in the jeans, riding a motorcycle through your flower garden! (can you tell I dislike motorcycles?)

Wiley – it's just so simple! We like the uncommonness, but not-weirdness of this name. It's simple and pretty old fashioned. I like that! And no! this isn't like Wiley the Coyote! ;) (@Jon Stevens and Harel Davolt) I looked that one up, and it's spelled Wile E. Coyote!

Pierce – I like this name really well, but my husband does not. Enough said there!

Claireborne – this is kinda a long story. My husband and I have each lost a sibling (before they were born) His was Chloe, (said Clo) mine was Claire. Someday we intend to name a little girl Chloe, (but said Clo-ee) and a boy some variation of Claire. Claireborne is the name on the list at this point. I'm not completely happy with the variation, so it may be revised in some way!

Shiloh – I love it! He doesn't!

Graham – It's one of those names you like most of your life, but then it comes right down to it, you're not so sure...

There's the run down, and you still don't know what name we're using. ...or do you?

The poll is closed so I don't get to vote. I think I would go with Pierce. Or....Aubry? I know that wasn't on the list, just thought I'd add it.
