Trip to PA

Practically our whole trip it rained. Then we reached Pennsylvania,
where, of course, it snowed! (at least on one side of the road)

My brother-in-law who was not able to come, sent us all out to eat!
Delicious!
Here is my younger sister and soon to be brother-in-law, enjoying it!

Mom was taking our pictures, but of course not wanting hers taken.
Dear Husband was able to sneak this one, and I think it's beautiful!

Dad and my sister were working on making the famous
"Dutch oven Sticky Buns."

Carrying them inside.
This picture looks sooo.... Dad!

The final product!

A yummy (early) Thanksgiving supper.

Of course my husband can't stand to see good food go to waste!
He had to clean up after the sticky buns.

A few feet from where He asked me to marry him 2+ years ago!

I love my sisters!

On our way from Pennsylvania to Indiana, I was privileged to meet
this little girl (newborn daughter of a friend) for the first time!

We were able to stop over at my Grandma's while in Indiana,
and see lots of aunts, uncles, cousins!
This cousin would have been one of my childhood "moms" when we'd
play house in grandmas upstairs. Now she has two adorable kids
of her own.

The cousin I always got into mischief with as a child!
...and the little girl is a daughter of the cousin from one picture up.

... the handsome little boy of my partner in mischief!

I don't think we got into much trouble... just coloring contests.

Two of my youngest cousins... who are supposed to still be little tiny,
but for some reason aren't! ... and my dear grandma.
I'm not sure what happened to all the other pictures that
I thought I took at grandma's... but we did enjoy seeing a whole
lot of other family there.

My dear sister and brother-in-law let us stay with them in their cozy little
home. Here the boys are perusing pictures of fire engines or some other
such manly pursuit!

The final leg of our journey....

Anniversary celebration....

Because of my husbands work schedule,

we really didn't have a lot of time to celebrate our anniversary.

So, we tried to do some different things for a few evenings.

A picnic at the river,

going out to eat with the family,

and on his day off, an all day trip to the "big" city!

(well in comparison to our hometown it's big)

Just a little freezer cooking...

What we've been up to lately...

Camp meeting...

Day away with the family...

And eating far to much along the way...

and taking random pictures while the boys were off...

Being ridiculous... not sure why other than tiredness.

A tiny little camping trip with just the two of us...

Breakfast...

Getting ready to go home.

As well as (not in picture for obvious reasons :) removing, washing,
and replacing windows, re-arranging furniture, and lots of other
boring stuff that you wouldn't be interested in, but sure is necessary.
